My mother, Régine Gardan Maupilé (1964-2018), was an abstract painter from Lyon. For her, colour was not decoration: it was a language, a way of expressing emotion where words stop. Inspired by Zao Wou-Ki, she spent years painting oils on canvas organised into chromatic periods, each one carried by a different intensity.

After she passed in 2018, I created Vitamin of Colors so that her work could keep living. Each painting is a unique piece, signed by her hand, and the collection is now closed: it will never grow. Bringing one of these canvases into your home means giving a second life to an artist's gesture.
